In this workshop we will discuss the importance of the acoustic guitar in the songwriting, performances and recordings of the music of The Beatles, beginning with their first single and throughout their career. We will explore the unique compositional approaches, choices of chord voicings, playing techniques, etc … that have made The Beatles music both enjoyed and revered for many years. Examples will include iconic acoustic guitar parts from classic and timeless songs such as Yesterday, Here Comes The Sun, Blackbird, etc … We will walk step by step through the creation of a solo guitar arrangement for You Never Give Me Your Money.

Tim performs on benefit concerts, festivals, workshops, corporate events and television programs. Tim has performed live on many radio programs as a featured artist including Echoes and Kid's Corner, both popular syndicated shows heard on hundreds of Public Radio stations nationwide.
Tim performs as a solo artist and also has shared the stage with such notable artists as Les Paul, George Benson, Jean Luc Ponty, Rick Wakeman, Alex DeGrassi, Jake Shimabukuru, California Guitar Trio, John Sebastian and many more ...
As an Educator Tim is teaching a new generation of musicians to develop a deeper knowledge, enjoyment, and appreciation of music. As a guest educator at various institutions and events, Tim conducts workshops, seminars, and residency activities. He can create customized residency programs as well as help to establish goals and objectives to fit the specific needs of a school or organization's curriculum.
Tim's activities as an educator have included programs for Islamorada Community Entertainment, South Florida Center For The Percussive Arts, Accent on Music Seminars, U.S. Navy, Newport Guitar Festival, Montreal Guitar Show, Titusville Council on the Arts, The Midland Theater, Healdsburg Guitar Festival, Woodstock Invitational Luthier's Showcase, Memphis Guitar Festival, Artslink! and many more.
Tim is also a distinguished faculty member of The Conservatory in Doylestown, PA, where he provides private lessons and conducts interactive workshops in Fingerstyle Guitar, Arranging and Composition, and where he is the Artistic Director of the Stretched Strings Concert and Workshop Series.
